2001

Company Hors B.V. was founded on July 11th, 2001. The purpose of the company was to create the new improved internet system for worldwide online hotel reservations, hotel reservation service of the 21 century "Horse21".

By the beginning of the company activity the algorithm of functioning of the system had been already chosen and tested. By December 2001 we had launched the beta version of the system which had a server, 40 contract hotels, a working interface and staff of 10 people.

2002

As soon as the system was set into work, its managers realized that the number of hotels in the system did not correspond to the volume of the clients`requests. Therefore we came up with the decision to find a technological solution for increasing of the hotel base. The choice fell upon the Pegasus Solutions company. In October of 2002 a contract was signed and seven months later a renovated version of the system was launched. By that time we had signed more than 500 direct contracts with the hotels and, with the SWITCH technology of Pegasus Solutions, another 45 000 hotels became available. All this allowed us to increase considerably the conversion of requests for available hotels.

2003

By October 2003 the Horse21 system offered 50 000 hotels available for reservation, receiving more than 1 000 000 requests per month, about 10 000 bookings having been realized. More than 200 corporate clients had been collaborating with us.

2004

Meanwhile, Hors B.V. achieved a unique hotel catalogue. It was a rich information resource on hotels from all over the world. It allowed clients to receive complete information about a hotel in 7 European languages. In February 2004 the catalogue was incorporated into the Horse21 system and soon became popular throughout the Internet community. Owing to this project the number of requests increased by dozens.

2005

The company was swiftly developing looking for new possibilities for broadening its service. So far as air ticket reservation usually accompanies hotel reservation, by March of 2005 we had launched the first version of the ticket reservation system.

2006

The strategy of the Hors B.V. company was to integrate all existent reservation technologies into one system. We signed contracts with the largest hotel wholesalers like GTA, Tourico Holidays, Travco, Restel/ Hotusa hotels. It's became possible to make a prepaid reservation needed by professional participants of the market-tour operators and travel agencies. In May 2006 we launched a new B2B service: Horse21Pro system conceived especially for travel business professionals.

2007

To ensure effective work of the system taking into consideration all the time zones of the world and peculiarities of the Internet traffic, in February 2007 we came up with the decision to install additional servers in USA and China in addition to the already installed servers in the Netherlands and Russia.

2008

The company began to sign direct contracts with hotel chains, groups and to implement direct XML connections with the CRS (Central Reservation Systems). Development of Horse21 CRS for direct contracted hotels.

2009

Our website became available in 11 languages.

New contracts with Hotel brands, new XML implementations.

Connectivity of hotel brand Horse21 to Pegasus Solutions for distribution of our hotels on the third party websites.

2010

Starting from 2007 and till now Horse21 is known online reservation system with app. 120 000 hotels in the database, 5 000 000 views and 500 000 unique visitors per month and more than 1 500 corporate clients.
